Konohagakure, also known as the Hidden Leaf Village, is one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations. Many agree that it is the most powerful of them all. Situated in Konoha, it is well hidden to anyone who does not know the village’s exact coordinates.

Sunagakure, the Hidden Sand Village, is situated in the Land of Wind. The ninja of this village specialize in jutsus of the Wind Release and of Puppetry. As it is situated in the desert, sandstorms frequently hit the town.

Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Mist, is located in the Land of Water. As the name suggests, it is hidden at most times by a thick mist. There are several mountains located behind it. Kirigakure is also home to the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

Kumogakure, the Village Hidden in the Clouds, is the ninja village of the Land of Lightning. The ninja here specialize in Lightning release jutsu and wield katana instead of kunai. It is located on a tall mountain, to where it is literally hidden within the clouds.

Iwagakure, the Hidden Stone Village, is located in the Land of Earth. Most famous for the rock-hard attitude of their shinobi, it is known that their brawn makes up for their lack of intelligence. The Iwa nin obey their Kage without question, even if it means death. It has natural defenses, of which the Iwa nin are proud.

This small, brand new shinobi village located in Fire Country is growing larger by the day, trying to make a name for itself.

This is also a new village. It is much smaller than the others and has fewer shinobi.

The mightiest of the Five Great Shinobi villages. Konoha is also the largest shinobi nation, having the most shinobi becuase of their leader's peaceful attitude. They are in constant dispute with Iwa, however, becuase NAruto Namikaze is the Yellow Flash reborn, and Iwa hates Konoha for that reason.

Sunagakure no Sato, the Village Hidden in the Sand, is also one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations. Though not as mighty as Konoha, Suna, is one of the strongest shinobi nations during times of hardship, like when the Kazekage was kidnapped.

Kirigakure no Sato, the Hidden Mist village, is the smallest of the Great Five. They tend to be secretive and hide from the whole shinobi world.

Kumogakure no Sato, the Village Hidden in the Clouds, is not in good shape. The recent end of their Civil War has left the country in tatters. But they will become stronger.

Iwagakure, the home of the most hard-headed shinobi. They have a constant conflict with Konoha because of their leader, the reborn Yellow Flash.

Konoha is a large, technologically advanced Shinobi Nation. They are still the largest and greatest of them all. The Akatsuki members stationed here are Pein and Itachi.

Suna is the desert nation of the Shinobi World. The Akatsuki members stationed here are Deidara, Tobi, and Zetsu.

The Hidden Mist Village, or Bloody Mist, as it is now known, has started the bloody graduation ritual again under Akatsuki Rule. The only Akatsuki Member here is Kisame because Pein trusts him to run the country alone.

Iwa is still a military stronghold, but it is significantly less powerful. The Akatsuki members here are Hidan and Kakuzu.
